I just downloaded the official MarathonFoto pictures I had “pre-booked” for the Boston Marathon 2017.
So long as you paid BEFORE the race, it was cheaper… the downside of course is that you don’t know how the photos will turn out. It’s a calculated risk… albeit they claim to offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. so I don’t know if I really hated how the shots came out if I could get a refund. I think that might be the case as I vaguely recall the London Marathon 2014 shots were awful and I got my quid returned after the fact… but that was their foreign office.
In any case, there wasn’t a definitive iconic shot that encapsulated the whole thing; let’s be honest, I’m never going to be Zeddie Little but I always hope for a shot that sorta personifies the moment.
