There apparently is a way to add a “magnifying glass” search option to the menu automatically but frankly my 1995-era HTML and web coding skills aren’t up to the challenge.  So instead I thought I’d put together this “page” for “searching.”  I don’t know if it’ll work but at least this way I won’t muck up the CSS and HTML and whatzits and whozits of the code and thus potentially avoid making the whole site inaccessible.

I’ve long since given up adding “tags” to posts and often I fail to even list the topic in the headline… or in the body of the text itself.  I don’t just bury the lead… I never get to it sometimes.  Thus I’m hoping this search bar is smart (or maybe dumb) enough to simply search everything — headline, text, asides, snarky comments, code, ramblings, what-have-yous — and come back with the result you may not even have realized was what you wanted to search for… in addition obviously to what you WERE trying to find.
