There will be probably still two more Madagascar Marathon posts before I finalize the “Tour” page for it. But before I do that, I wanted to put out into the universe a quick thank you to some of my fellow Marathon Tours travelers who made the trip more fun.
So thank you to:
Brent and Sue, Mark and Tandi, Trey and Alex, Bert and Chrissy, Deb and Dave, Thierry and his dad, Richard and his wife, Keith, Ulrike, Tony and Catherine, and all the Karens, and everybody who was good, kind, and supportive… to everyone who sought to experience the adventure and share the fun and cheer on others – thank you. You all are the best kinds of runners and cheer squads — those happy people striving to see, do, and be the best you can be and to cheer on others doing the same.
I know I’ve forgotten other names but rest assured I haven’t forgotten you as people. I had some issues with some folks on this trip — that’s the nature of travel as the mix of personalities can sometimes be off. But I was incredibly lucky, fortunate, and privileged to be amongst some amazing folks as well and I’m going to try and focus on them and remember them when I think back on my days traveling about the 4th largest island in the world.
