The race organizers posted an infographic about this month’s Muscat marathon. Turns out I am RAISING the average age of this thing. That’s not helping my feelings regarding the ever heavier weight of time.
By the same token, I’ve got a one in 150 chance of winning this thing… or is it one in 149? I never was very good at odds, stats, or probabilities.
There’s an irony in there, though it may be more Alanis Morrisetteian than Webster’s. I was never very good at the latter either.
