I get inundated with emails from races. Anytime I sign up for an event, my name goes on some list and it gets sold or traded or bartered or some such and other events send out promo notices trying to entice me to sign up for their event. I generally only check out marathons and occasionally other events closer to home.
I haven’t lived in Pennsylvania for decades but this event caught my eye.
As far as “hooks” go, this one has a pretty good one… assuming they can pull it off. Running on an active airport’s runway with planes taking off and landing around you? That’s a unique opportunity to be sure.
It’s limited to 250 slots and when last I checked they had 187 spaces left… so I must be on the VIP, early bird list!
I of course already have a race scheduled for that weekend. You’ve got to give me more notice than this if you want my calendar to be open!
