On our recent flight back from the Big Five Marathon, Mom and I watched EDDIE THE EAGLE. As a result, Mom wanted to get a supporter shirt like Eddie’s mum rocks in the film. I decided to get an equally supportive one for me. Love you, Mom.
Mom later told me she was surprised by it and wasn’t sure how often I would proudly wear mine; she knew she could wear hers anytime she was out supporting me at a run. I told her I was proud to wear it a lot but for sure I would wear it when she and I do the Kalakaua Merrie Mile in December.
I AM proud to be Karen’s son. She’s great… not only as a supporter of Run Kevin Run, not only as a supporter of plain ol’ Kevin, but she’s great overall. I do love ya, Mom! Thanks for always being there for me and for so many other people.
