Mom was a real trouper. As a Disney Girl, she wasn’t too keen on donning a Jay Ward hat… but Mickey said it was ok.

A cast member came up to me as I was waiting on a Meet and Greet with a World Famous Disney Character and he told me “Sorry, folks. The line’s closed… Moose outside shoulda told ya.” I had spent the whole time focused on the branded “Bullwinkle” costume that I missed the WallyWorld possibilities! To clarify my costume, my Mom reluctantly donned her Rocket J. Squirrel hat I also found in my closet so the illusion was complete — we were “Moose and Squirrel.”
Still, give credit where credit is due — that cast member was right: the WallyWorld Moose would’ve been a very a-MOOSE-ing costume.
