So my Mom knew right where the post cards from this 2013 project were. Well, she knew they were in one of two places and of course they were in the last place we looked,. To be fair, and other, far wittier folks have already pointed this out, but when you find something it is ALWAYS the last place you look because you wouldn’t keep looking in places after you found what you were looking for; why would you look elsewhere? Therefore you always find the item in the last place you looked, right?
My brother said he knew where his post cards were up until about two months ago when things went into storage. But I bet they will be all in the last place he would look if he did go in search of them.
Anyhoo, it was fun scanning in these cards and remembering, if only for for the time the scanner digitized the image, a race or a moment in time. As a result, I just might attempt a 2018 reboot … or should I say repost… of the Post Card Project.
