From the Creative Forces Who Brought Us Cashless Wristbands…

So the Bali Marathon released the results on their website… albeit possibly only photographs of the winners on the podium. For the full results, ya know, the ones that I’d be in, and that have the actual times people ran, including the winners, those are only available through their app.

A close-up:

Sigh.

Nothing like innovation that makes things harder for all involved.

The overall male winner, who pocketed a cool 189,000,000 rupiah (or about USD $14,250) was Henry Kiprotich with a time of 2:19:15.

The overall female winner was Rumokol Chepkanan, who pocketed an EQUALLY cool 189,000,000 rupiah.  She ran a 2:38:36.  I wanted to include this because I was glad to see the men and women were competing for the same amount of prize money as this is the way it should be.

Here though is a screenshot of my results from my phone:

I placed 51st out of 1,887 marathoners.
