The final countdown is on!
That regionalist of regional holidays, Patriots’ Day, is in seven days. And that means the granddaddy of the US Marathon scene, the Boston Marathon, is in 7 days.
I last ran there five years ago on a charity bib for Boston Children’s Hospital (and I really owe my patient partner Christian an email). Family, and that included friends who were and remain like family, came out to cheer me on.
I figure I’ll post a few pics from 2012 leading up to the big day, but for now, here’s my official Runner Passport for 2017.
