Back Log

So… I’m back from Cleveland. And I’m packing up for my next trip that starts tomorrow. In the meantime, I thought I’d do a backlog of a few items.

My neck is better from the stage dive, faux-mosh pit adventure at the Space Coast Marathon but my back is killing me from where I landed on it. Hence the pun-tastic back log title. Puns fully intended!

Prior to the event, the Christmas Story Run sent out a bingo card for spectators to use for spotting costumes and accessories on the day. Here’s a clean copy:

Speaking of the Christmas Story Run, here’s Mom’s ticket to the House and Museum that I wanted to scan in for posterity’s sake…

As well as my bib autographed by Ian “Randy” Petrella ($10 well spent?):

And here’s a link to a YouTube video showing my finish:

I spent the morning sorting out a crazy double marathon trip in January… still have a few details to go but suffice it to say, I understand why my credit card company was questioning my purchase of a flight from Dubai to Oman. Oddly, they hadn’t questioned my marathon registration for the Muscat Marathon that I did the other day… if they know I’m running in Oman, wouldn’t it make sense that I’d need to GET to Oman? Fraud algorithms are weird.

There’s more to be said and more to log but for now, that’ll do.  Back again later… albeit depending on WiFi access, the posts may get backlogged and delayed.  It’s always something.
