This is the last entry on the Seniors First Turkey Trot 2016.
Here are a selection of photos “for purchase” from the race photographers. Were they not so expensive I would definitely buy one or two. If you didn’t know it was me, it could be anybody in that Turkey Costume. Hell, I should’ve just had a stunt runner. But that would be cheating, as diabolical as a Rosie Ruiz moment. This was after all my Boston Market Qualifier!
And despite my hopes that they’d post the video to their website, Channel 13’s news story on the event only aired on Spectrum Cable TV — but Mom was eagle eyed enough to spot it. I recorded it on my iPhone so the sound and image quality are, well, what you’d expect from a camera phone shooting a TV screen.
This is how I spent 1:37 of my ever dwindling and virtually exhausted Warhol fame. Is it better to have Turkey’d and Trotted than to have never Turkey’d at all? I’m not in a position to say.
