And now a word from our IT Department…

What in the name of Arthur Fonzarelli  is going on here?! I’ve tried multiple WiFi locations and multiple devices and anytime I try and upload photos for my blog posts it’s a series of failures and red lights that would make even the most oblivious recognize there was a problem.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m in Italy and there’s a Donald Trump program running somewhere on my server, building some wall to keep out foreigners or of the local ISPs have erected a firewall to prevent my ideologically subversive blog from being updated. I mean what could be more controversial than my ratings of water fountains and falafel in the city of Venice? Here’s a hint, faithful readers – one is better than the other…

I’m going to try once more tomorrow but if I fail once more I may just upload posts with a “PHOTO MISSING” note each time there should be an image. I realize as I proofed the posts from yesterday and today that I do often rely on the photos to tell the story but I think that’s probably the right choice. I know I should probably do better on the prose but each pic is worth at least 99 words and some into the high triple digits! Once in a blue moon I might get a four digit word worthy pic but that’s, ya know, usually a photo of a blue moon.

But I digress… too late… the point is there’s been some annoying technical difficulties that has this IT guy pulling out what little of his hair is left. I tried turning my device off and on — what else can I do?!

Point is, there’s posts coming … but they may be workshop/test screens. Be assured that once they’re officially posted, they’ll look like every other post on here – rambling, obtuse, error-filled and obscure. So there’s that to look forward to!
