Let this be a lesson to me — I skipped the finisher staged photo at the San Francisco Marathon as I was 100% sure I wasn’t going to buy any photo packages. And then today I found out Saucony was sponsoring free downloads of photos, albeit with their logo emblazoned in the corner. Well, more like the bottom third of the photo. Still, considering I paid $20 for a single pic that did the same thing in the Poconos, this would’ve been a nice pic to get for free.
Instead, I’m left with “candid” action shots. And as is so often the case with my photos, hell, even with my staged photos, I look as graceful as a lumbering, overweight pot belly pig. I move with the agility and skill of a drunken sloth. And in still form? I’m as photogenic as I can be, I guess, it’s just not all that photogenic. Still, in the intere3st of completeness, here are a few of the “freebie” photos from SanFran, courtesy of somebody… I wish I could remember their name… if only they had been more aggressive in their sponsorship marketing…
