Neither traffic, nor one way streets, nor parking nightmares…

It was a LONG drive to San Francisco. An hour sitting to pay a toll and get over the bridge. The last thirty miles took two hours. Yeesh.

Trying to find parking for the expo down at the Marina Center proved challenging, a series of snarling one way streets, spaces that may or may not have been valid, and rising frustrations not only from me but seemingly every driver, biker, and pedestrian I encountered.

They had a service to check on prepaid lots for tomorrow morning. I didn’t scroll through all the listings but most seemed around $45 to $75. I’m going to set my ala for 3 am and try and find street parking.

And despite my harrumphing and muttering, the Early Bird Expo pricing for NEXT YEAR’s event caught my eye. It’s the 40th anniversary run. And so ive paid to do all this again next year.

To be fair, this site is called Run Kevin Run and not, ya know, Smart Kevin Smart.

I also stopped at the photo booths and snag a couple of shots.

And my AirBnb hostess Jill is lovely. Her mom makes souvenir bags for guests with their names on them during her arts and crafts sessions. You don’t get that sort of amenity at murder hotels!
