Or rather it only seems like Groundhog Day on this, the Day After Groundhog Day. I’ve just finished my FOURTH Surf City Marathon.
Meh. So that happened.
As a soliloquy aside, I had paid for an app to do that animated GIF above on my iPhone but after switching to a Samsung, I’d have to pay the company the same fee to get the Android version. It’s always something.
On the plus side, after the race I got to have lunch with 5K finisher Jean and half marathon finisher Kerry plus my super cheer team of Mom and Steve. That was a highlight… but the photo of that is on I think my Mom’s phone so I’ll post that later.
Meantime, I’m off to hopefully see cheaters not prospering. They’ve prospered so much and so often… as have of late so many other cheaters. I would like to see some sort of reconciliation of the scales. Wouldn’t that be nice.
