After 23 years with the company, today is my mom’s last day working for Disney. It’s a bittersweet moment and I feel guilty that I’m not there when she gets home. I offered to cancel my trip to West Palm Beach for the marathon tomorrow but she insisted I go.
Still, I hope she knows how proud of her I always am. On the plus side, she’s got a few more weekends free now to join me on some crazy marathon trips.
