In 2015, I ran a 5K in downtown Orlando wearing a turkey costume.
In 2016, I did it again in a cooked turkey costume.
Last year I was in Myanmar for Thanksgiving and was running the Bagan Temple Marathon.
This year I was too cheap to pay the $25 to get a bib for an early 5K turkey trot downtown… so I decided to run my own.
Thus I give you the 1st Ever Run Kevin Run Dot Com Turkey Trot Ten Miler.
The results? Six incredulous looks from passing cars, 5 smiles/nods/words of appreciation from fellow runners, 3 honks, and 2 thumbs up.
And also room for seconds tonight at Thanksgiving Dinner.
