It’s been a long weekend with A LOT of driving. I’ll endeavor to post a few more coherent thoughts tomorrow but in the meantime, here are start line and finisher photos of me.
According to the text messages I received as part of the runner tracking, I clocked a 3:32:56 for the day.
The highlight of the race was certainly Lambeau Field; the rest of the course was just meh.
I didn’t take a lot of medal shots at the end despite an ideal framing opportunity. I opted to avail myself of the minimal late-check-out time (11:30 instead of 11 am) to get a shower before the 4 hour drive back to Minneapolis and the eventual 4 hour flight to LA. A few minor regrets to be sure but honestly, I’m confident I made the right choice.
