I took today off from running so I could drive up to Atlanta to see Eric Zala and his Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation on the big screen. I’ve long been a fan of his and the crew behind this shot-for-shot remake that took 25 years to make.
It doesn’t often happen, but sometimes the reality is better than the legend. He’s even more amazing in person. And his 20-minute post film talk on perseverance, the artistic impulse, and team mentality when confronted with challengers was inspirational.
