A Series of Thirteens…

Every day around 9 AM I log into the local vaccine portal to see if there are appointments available for my age group. And every day I am told there aren’t. It’s early in the process and eventually the dates and time will work out. I just need to be patient.

Thankfully, we have experts to tell us WHY people are all racing to find normal:

Meanwhile, to try and clear my head and shave off some of my Covid-19 weight, I’ve been running a half marathon each day this week. I had decided on Monday when I got shut out in 13 minutes from the first batch of availability for the vaccine that this would be my coping strategy. I’m not dumb enough to plan on running half marathons until I get an appointment (or am I?). But I am going to try and do a solid week of them.

Three days down… 39.3 miles run… four days and 52.4 miles to go…
