Sigh. They got me. Again.
I had planned on skipping out on runDisney’s Marathon weekend in 2019, figuring I’ve done the Dopey Challenge for 5 years and seen just about all the characters along the way that they intend on putting on the course.
And yet, mainly *because* I’ve run the Dopey Challenge every year they’ve had it, a part of me selfishly wanted to maintain my “perfect” status with them.
And so when they finally opened up early VIP registration yesterday, I logged in while stuck on a tarmac, sitting on a plane waiting for our gate to open up. And I signed over an arm and a leg to get this screen:
A few moments later, I got a text from my credit card company telling me that my large purchase had been approved.
When AMEX has to notify you about the race registration charge, you just know you’re paying too much.
