This is a virtual re-creation of the Wines & Vines photo book I had made for my mother and brother after our Medoc Marathon trip in 2013. I was chatting with a running buddy (and my former lawyer) and he mentioned a group of them were headed to Medoc later this year. I flashed onto the grape-tastic trip we had way back when and thought why not revisit it online? And this being my website, well, it wasn’t too hard to convince management to give me the go-ahead.
In the interest of full disclosure, given my virtually limitless page allotments here at runkevinrun.com as opposed to a price per page of a printed book, there are a few more photos posted here and there than were originally in the book (only Mom and Steve know for sure what changes I’ve made… but in case they read this, well, ya know, full disclosure).
Oh, and the theme of the race in 2013 was “Sci-Fi” so Steve and I went as “Darth Steve” and “Obi-Wan Kev-Nobi” respectively.
