September 25, 2017 – The Last Day to Play with Mom and Mickey… For Now.

We made it an early day at Disneyland Paris for our last play day in the parks. Mom is flying back tomorrow and I’m off to the next leg of the running tour.

Perhaps at my Airbnb in Paris I’ll have better wifi and can upload some photos.

Yet even if that’s the case, unfortunately I wont’t be able to post any of my official race day photos or park attraction pics until mugh later. I haven’t been able to get to them online and thus recently sent the Disney PhotoPass folks an email. Their reply is below:

Dear guest,

You bought a Photo Pass in the Run Disney and we thank you for it.

The RunDisney PhotoPass will only be active on September 30th.

Before this date, it is normal that you cannot validate your Pass. Indeed, you will not be able to access your account before September 30th, either by your bib number or with your Photopass-Run.

See you on September 30th on our dedicated website: www.run.disneyphotopass.eu !

We remain at your disposal for any further information.

It’s troubling that the pass isn’t active until 9/30… long AFTER we’ve left France.  I certainly hope the photos show up.  Mom and I had to ride Pirates of the Caribbean twice to get the action shot we wanted; the sacrifices we make for our art!  What a chore!  Boo hoo!  We had to set sail with the scurvy marauding hordes a second time!  That’s beyond first world problems; that’s probably double zero world problems.  But we nailed it if I do say so myself on round deux.  I can’t show you that photo though until at least September 30th.  But know this – it’s a treasured memory.

As fun as it’s been, I think Mom and I need a vacation from our vacation.  We aren’t good st the “morning til night” park days anymore, especially with crowds of any size.  Today was A LOT less crowded but the cumulative “hours of fun” logged in the parks have taken their toll.  Nonetheless, despite bidding adieu and see ya real soon to Mickey and Co. a bit early today, I think we had a stellar last day of fun… for now.

Adventures await us down the pike but until then there’s things to do!  So it is adieu, adieu, adieu!

PS – Love you, Mom.  The best souvenirs from a trip are the photos and memories of spending time with you.  Safe travels and bon voyage tomorrow.
